Our Commitment to Fair Work

Sunny Govan Community Radio is fully committed to the Scottish Government’s Fair Work First principles. We believe everyone who works with us deserves fair pay, respect, security, and a genuine voice in how the organisation operates.

Real Living Wage

We pay the Real Living Wage to all staff, freelancers, sessional workers, and contracted workers. This is a core policy across the organisation.

No Zero-Hours Contracts

We do not use zero-hours contracts. Everyone working with us has clarity and security around their hours and terms.

Effective Voice

Our team are actively involved in shaping how Sunny Govan runs. We maintain strong and open communication through:

  • Regular team meetings

  • One-to-one check-ins

  • Open-door access to management

  • Anonymous digital feedback when needed

  • Collaborative planning across projects
